Restitution to the Church of Cyprus of an icon of St. John the Forerunner
An 18th-century icon was returned to the Church of Cyprus thanks to the intervention of the Art-Law Centre.
An 18th-century icon that a British officer spirited out of war-wracked Cyprus in 1974 was returned on 23 February to the island’s Orthodox Church by the officer’s son thanks to the intervention of the Art-Law Centre of the University of Geneva.
