B. Only for authenticated users
The following attributes are only processed/displayed if they are released by the organisation of the user that is accessing the Service:

  • Surname
  • Given name
  • Affiliation
  • Home organization type
  • Home organization
  • Scoped affiliation
  • E-mail
  • Display name
  • eduPerson Unique ID
  • Common name
  • Principal name
  • Matriculation number
  • Study branch 1
  • Study branch 3
  • Study branch 2
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Study level
  • Staff category
  • Business phone number
  • Business postal address
  • Preferred language
  • Employee number
  • Swiss edu-ID Linked Affilation
  • Swiss edu-ID Associated E-Mail

All of the above attributes are declared as required to check if they really are released by an organisations.
Purpose of the processing of personal data The IP and referrer addresses of all web page visitors are stored in the web server log file for debugging purposes.
For authenticated users, the Service may receive all personal data mentioned-above.
Third parties to whom personal data is disclosed No data will be released to third parties. Personal data is only shown to the user himself. Data might also be used by UNIGE staff members for debugging purposes.
How to access, rectify and delete the personal data Contact via ServiceAdmin@unige.ch.
To rectify the data released by your Home Organisation, contact your Home Organisation's IT helpdesk.
Data retention Personal data is deleted on request of the user or if the user hasn't used the service for one year.
Data Protection Code of Conduct Your personal data will be protected according to the Code of Conduct for Service Providers, a common standard for the research and higher education sector to protect your privacy.
