On-site installation started
On-site installation and commissioning of HARPS-N started on March 6th, 2012, at TNG.
Vacuum vessel and optical bench after installation in the thermal enclosure
The on-site installation of HARPS-N has started on the 6th of March with the arrival of the ATC Team in charge of the Calibration Unit and Front-End Unit. The Geneva Team arrived on the 9th, at the same time as the second container carrying the vacuum vessel. Daily reports will be made to update on progresses. They can be found here.
