Echelle grating blank after delivery at RGL
The echelle grating blank has been delivered, after machining and polishing to Richardson Grating Laboratory in Rochester, NY. The blank is now ready for the replication process which will take place early 2011, earlier than originally scheduled. The replication process is however very delicate and critical for the final optical performances. A picture of the blank is shown here.
